Armand,

I'm quite scrupulous about warming the motor before driving or revving, but I did find the dealer's shop manager revving the snot out of my bike's motor when I went to pick up the bike after the 600-mile service. The leak has been much more evident since then, although there seemed to be a tiny leak before that. The dealer says that he can fix the leak, but it'll take hime at least three weeks because of his summer workload, and I don't want to wait that long, so I'm hoping to top off the oil as necessary until I can get the bike fixed in a smaller amount of time. It's not clear to me, though, why revving a cold engine would produce or worsen a leak at the head. I'd appreciate knowing more about that.
